Yes! Graduates of Sheridan’s Bachelor of Business Administration degree programs are eligible to apply to master’s level studies, similar to degree graduates from other postsecondary institutions. In fact, Sheridan Bachelor of Business Administration graduates have successfully applied and been accepted into a variety of master’s level studies.

Just remember, admission requirements for master’s level studies can vary by institution and you’ll still need to meet those requirements in order to be accepted.

Taking a full course load of five courses or more can typically be balanced with part-time work responsibilities.

However, we don’t recommend studying full-time while also working full-time, as it is very difficult to balance the demands of both.

Yes, you can! Sheridan’s degree completion program provides pathways into the Pilon School of Business’ Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degrees for graduates of 14 different diploma or advanced diploma programs. You’ll get significant credit for courses you completed in your diploma, allowing you to complete your degree sooner.

Yes! All baccalaureate degrees offered by Ontario’s Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology (CAAT) are subject to the same requirements and quality assurances as those offered by Ontario’s Institutes of Technology & Advanced Learning (ITAL).

Sheridan’s Bachelor of Business Administration degrees were initially quality-assured by the Postsecondary Education Quality Assessment Board (PEQAB) in 2014. They were re-assessed this year (2021) by a panel of independent subject matter experts and were renewed for another seven years.

Yes, courses can be scheduled anytime between 8 a.m and 10 p.m., and we offer a selection of evening courses each semester!

However, evening courses are not guaranteed, and you’ll almost certainly have to accommodate daytime courses at some point in your studies. Our student advisers will work with you to develop a plan that allows for flexibility in your daytime commitments, such as arranging for before- or after-school care for children, or beginning work an hour late one day per week.

If you’re a full-time student, it will likely take you two years to complete a diploma program, three years to complete an advanced diploma program and four years to complete a degree program.

If you’re studying part-time, the length of time it will take you to complete your program will depend on how many courses you choose to complete each semester.

Yes, you can! Our innovative Online Advanced Standing application process allows you to transfer previously-earned credits at other institutions towards your Sheridan program of study. Once you’ve applied and paid your fees, you’ll be able to access myPathways, an online service that enables Sheridan students to see what previous learning credits can be applied towards your program.

You may also be able to receive credit for any previous work experience, unrecognized training, independent study, volunteer activities or hobbies you’ve participated in that is related to your field of study!

Yes! Students in Sheridan’s Bachelor of Business Administration degree programs are able to complete a semester abroad for academic credit with one of our partner institutions: FHNW School of Business (Switzerland), Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands) or La Salle University (Spain).

All Pilon School of Business courses are offered at our state-of-the-art Hazel McCallion Campus (HMC), located in the heart of Mississauga at 4180 Duke of York Boulevard (across from Square One Shopping Centre).

Built to LEED gold standards, HMC first opened in 2011 with the construction of a 220,000-square-foot A Wing. HMC was expanded in 2017 with the addition of a 225,000-square-foot B Wing, and construction of a 70,000-square-foot student and athletics building is nearing completion. As a Pilon School of Business student, you’ll have access to career support through Sheridan Works, an online platform that allows students, alumni and employers to engage in a variety of career-related and job-related activities. You’ll be able to apply to job positions through our Career Services job board, book appointments with Employment Consultants and Career Counsellors, view current Co-Curricular Record opportunities, and register for workshops, seminars, information sessions and more!

If you’re enrolled in a program that includes a co-op or internship, we’ll also help you search and apply for co-op or internship positions, book interviews and meet with co-op advisors.

Yes we do! Sheridan’s Entrepreneurship Discovery and Growth Engine (EDGE), located at our Hazel McCallion Campus, supports new and growing ventures by providing mentorship, workspace, training, learning programs and support to access funding. It also acts as a gateway to Sheridan’s many innovation resources and presents opportunities to network with like-minded entrepreneurs.
